NOTE: the preschool follows the CDC guidelines for schools, which still requires masks in the building during the week.

Baritone James Taylor has been a member of the musical team at Faith Lutheran for the better part of the past 7 years. We at Faith have appreciated his musical contributions to our spiritual life and we wish him well as he embarks on a new journey at Church of the Palms on Bee Ridge.

Thank you, James, for your service to Faith Lutheran Church!!
All women of Faith are invited to join together on Tuesday, June 8 at 9:30 a.m. in the memorial garden. We will be enjoying some much needed fellowship and perhaps share a few “survival" stories of COVID times.

Please bring your own snack or breakfast and a comfortable chair. There are benches available if you would rather sit on them.

Devotions will be included. We will also discuss plans for future months. Hope to see you then!
ALTAR FLOWERS are a beautiful and meaningful way to honor/remember someone or a special occasion, while decorating our altar for worship. Now is a great time to sign up, with the relaxed COVID-19 recommendations and people returning to church.

Available upcoming dates are; July 11 and 18, the months of August, September, October, November 7, 14, and 21, and the month of December.
To make a dedication: At church, complete an 'Altar Flowers' envelope, include your payment, and place it in the offering plate; By mail, send payment with a note indicating your desired date and dedication; or CLICK HERE to order online. The cost is $60, which is for 2 vases. Please make checks payable to Faith Lutheran Church and indicate ‘altar flowers’ in the memo. Thank you for making Faith Lutheran’s altar beautiful!
On Friday, May 28, we celebrated our 39 VPK graduates with a drive-thru graduation event. Our families knocked it out of the park this year with their cars decorated, horns honking, balloons flying, yelling and cheering to make each child feel so special!!! This is such a FUN event where each child has their special moment to hear their name over the loud speaker, have everyone cheering for them and to receive their diploma and VPK memory box. It is surely an experience the children will remember for years to come.
Congratulations to our 39 graduates! We are so proud of you! We wish you all the best in kindergarten next year.
Keep playing, growing and learning.
