TOYS FOR KENTUCKY DUE THIS SUNDAY, JAN. 23
Help support our Toys and Games outreach to children living
in Mayfield, Kentucky.

The December 10 tornado devastated families living in Mayfield. Many of the homes and churches were destroyed; therefore, Christmas was somewhat bleak for so many children.

Faith Early Learning Center is partnering with Mayfield First Methodist Church and Christ United Methodist Church to help bring some Christmas joy to children so tragically impacted after the storm.

Bring new toys and games, unwrapped, to Faith Lutheran by Sunday, January 23. We will pack them up and send them out the week of January 24.
SUPPORT FELC BY EATING AT CHICK-FIL-A THIS TUESDAY!

DAILY PRAYER
VENTURES
January is Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month - Throughout this month, pray for those victimized by human trafficking, which disproportionately affects women and girls. Pray for an end to this global tragedy, and pray that all who suffer its abuse, injustice and oppression will find freedom, healing, support and safety, especially in our communities of faith.
The ELCA offers daily Prayer Ventures, which may be found on their website, https://www.elca.org/en/Resources/Prayer-Ventures. The prayers for this weekend are below. Visit the website if you would like to follow the daily prayers!

21 “How precious is your steadfast love, O God! All people may take refuge in the shadow of your wings” (Psalm 36:7). Thank God for surrounding us with love and mercy on which we can rely.

22 Pray that the Spirit will inspire and lead people to respond to God’s call to service through ELCA Global Mission as it seeks missionaries, volunteers and interns to walk alongside our global companions.

23 Give thanks that Jesus is our true Savior, light and hope — the Son of God, who lived among us and continues to dwell with us through the Spirit.
