My heart is breaking over the ways that racism is still prevalent in our country. Despite the heartbreak, we must remember the work that we committed to in our baptismal vows to, "accept the freedom and power God gives us to resist evil, injustice, and oppression in whatever forms they present themselves." As a result, I am committed to resisting the sin of racism and helping to equip us all to join in this rejection of evil and injustice.
