December 2018
"For a child has been born for us,a son given to us; authority rests upon his shoulders; and he is named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Isaiah 9:6

Dear Friends,

In this season of Advent, may you be filled with God’s peace and a spirit of goodwill towards all.

Blessings,

Tell DHS: No Public Charge Expansion!
Take Action: Public comments due by December 10.
Low-income immigrants need your voice. From now through Dec. 10, the Department of Homeland Security is accepting public comment on its proposed sweeping changes to the definition of “public charge,” making otherwise eligible lower income immigrants ineligible for a green card if they are likely to use anti-poverty programs like food stamps, housing assistance and Medicaid.
