A MESSAGE FROM MISS LAURA

Can you IMAGINE how it would have been for Mary? An angel comes to her and tells a very young, unmarried, pure woman that she is going to have a baby, and not just any baby, the SAVIOR? This week’s lesson was about the visit from the angel of God and the message they gave to both Mary and Joseph. Mind blowing!

Here’s an activity from this week’s Family Page to talk about over dinner: Can you describe a time when you were in an embarrassing, frightening or upsetting situation? If an angel delivered a message to you from God, what do you think that message would be?

Don’t forget to bring back your “piggy bank” with coins in it on Christmas Eve for the Global Barnyard! If you can’t make it on Christmas Eve, just bring it the next time you come to church!

Speaking of Christmas Eve, the 11:00 AM service will be a short, fun interactive play for kids and families! It will be a “pop up” nativity play engaging those who attend, just 30 minutes long and includes carols, a photobooth and cookies and hot cocoa! When families arrive, they will be asked if they want to wear a costume. To make the experience welcoming and inviting for our new visitors and families, I’m asking if any of y’all want to bring your families to the 11:00 AM service. I will need you to come back to the 3:30 PM worship service when your kiddos will be sharing music!

I need teachers for the winter/spring session. Here’s the link to sign up! FaithTrek Teacher Sign Up Get ‘er done, and, THANK YOU!

Merry Christmas, Sweet Families!
