A MESSAGE FROM MISS LAURA

This week’s FaithTrek lesson came from John 1 and focused on God announcing Jesus as his son at his baptism…Jesus is the Word! Very powerful!

Here is an activity for the whole family from this week's Family Page: When you think about your family, what words come to mind? Create a list of your favorite words and use them to write a simple poem in which every line begins “Our family…” You can repeat the verb “is” or use a variety of verbs (Our family is loving, Our family loves…) When you have completed your poem, put it up on the fridge or some other spot where you’ll see it each day.

During my children's message on Sunday, I introduced the Lego Cart to the cherubs and congregation. It sounds like they’re excited about it! I’ll have this reminder on the cart, but here is a recap of what the Lego cart is all about.
