I’m a big fan of the 9:30 AM summer worship time on Sunday! It was great seeing y’all all at one time and we had a great turnout for the camp blessing. Enjoy yourselves, cherubs! The Noisy Offering for OutNebraska went GREAT, and as a proud parent of an LGBTQ kiddo, I signed up for our table at the Pride Festival here in Lincoln on Friday. I soo love our church’s inclusivity and mission.
Are y’all registered for Vacation Bible School yet? Join us next week from 8:30 AM-Noon. I’m helping with crafts and can’t wait to see you there. Click here to register your child(ren)! It's open to all kids ages 3-5th grade and friends are welcome, too!
Movie Night is on Saturday, June 21st, and I am inviting YOU and all the families from Our Saviour's Lutheran who join us at VBS to watch one of the best movies of all time - The Sandlot. It will start at 6:00 PM and you will need to bring something to drink with lids, pillows and blankets. We will provide couches and chairs for adults and SNACKS. Please let me know if you will be in attendance so I will have enough popcorn and other goodies. All ages are welcome, so bring your Great Aunt Edna (if you have one)! (You’re killin me Smalls!)
Looking ahead, we will be having a couple Parents Night Out. One is scheduled for November 21st to help with any shopping you may need to do for the holidays. Another one will be February 13th for, well, you know, love. The idea is you have a night out and I, Ms Laura, will entertain your children! We are planning to limit this to 20 children so Ms Laura can keep her sanity. We’ll let you know the particulars as the dates get closer.
