We learned to be adaptive this week as part of our upstairs was flooded. Good job cherubs!
This Friday is Parent’s Night Out!! Drop off is 5:30 PM and it lasts until 9:00 PM. The middle and high schoolers will be eating pizza, playing games and watching the movie Toy Story with your cherubs. (With adults as well!) Sign your kids up here! What a great way to get some errands done or take an uninterrupted nap. It’s open to more than just First families, so if there’s anyone you'd like to hang out with, they can bring their cherubs as well. The cost is $15.00 per child and is a fundraiser for summer youth accompaniment trips and summer camp scholarships.
This Sunday we will have an all-generational event in the Activity Center during Faithtrek time. We will be making little lanterns to hang on the “tree” I will concoct in the Sanctuary during Advent. Come have a doughnut hole (or two!), juice and fun with me and bring the whole family!
Midweek Advent services and meals are coming up on December 3, 10 and 17, and I have a super cool activity for the cherubs to do during the services at 6:30 PM. Come from 5:30-6:30 PM and have a meal free from buying, cooking and cleaning, and participate in one of my fun activities.
After the 10:45 AM worship service on Sunday, December 14, an all-congregational Christmas-themed Talent Show will be held as a fundraiser for the middle school/high school accompaniment trips, as well as camp scholarships for the smaller cherubs. Anyone can sign up! There’s a $10.00 entry fee per act and a free will offering lunch will be provided.
