IDENTITIES ARE CONCEALED FOR SECURITY PURPOSES

We wish you a very Merry Christmas. May the newborn baby Jesus Christ, our Lord, Savior, and King, bring you joy, peace, and good health for you and your family for now and forever as you celebrate Him.

Faithful Amid Trials

"You turned my lament into dancing; You removed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, so that I can sing to You and not be silent. LORD my God, I will praise You forever."

-Psalm 30:11-12

Dear Ministry Partners,

Merry Christmas greetings from CCI-Myanmar!

I am grateful to the Lord for His faithfulness to His people in Myanmar. God is never late in protecting His people from the fall and meets their needs as they trust in Him, regardless of the circumstances. He always hears our cries and works on our behalf when we fervently seek Him through studying His Word and living faithfully. We cannot stop thanking Him for His love and goodness.

From the training classes, we praise the Lord for the transformative work He is doing in the lives of the students. Many have shared how their eyes have been opened to the truths they are learning. Their mindsets have shifted, leading to recommitments and productive decisions for both life and ministry. They are also becoming aware of the weaknesses in current church leadership and recognizing the foundational ministries necessary for church growth and the expansion of God's kingdom. The students are enthusiastic and deeply engaged in their learning.

However, the current political situation continues to challenge us. Safe areas to visit are becoming increasingly limited. Many men are forced to move from place to place seeking safety, and tragically, some have disappeared. Checkpoints in cities are strict, and the sounds of airstrikes and bombings—even in cities where refugees have gathered—are a reminder of the ongoing conflict.

Despite the enemy’s strong and relentless mission, the civilians remain united with a determined hope for freedom. Yet, we desperately need God’s immediate intervention to bring about true and lasting freedom in our land.

I led a one-day seminar for 12 pastors and church leaders. The training highlighted examples of how redemptive ministry leaders throughout the Bible led the people. It was a wonderful meeting to share our own ministry challenges. It was also a very good time to share the ministry of CCI with them.

Thank you so much for your prayers, love, and support financially.

In His Love,

Classes

  • Pastor B continues teaching his class, which is doing well.
  • Pastor T shared that the classes are good and very effective for the students. They provided training in their practical ministry and their church activities.
  • I communicated with four churches, which are committed to their study.
  • Pastor Z is doing well with his own class.
  • Pastor S said the classes are doing well and that they are committed to their learning efforts.

Staff Update

  • Pastor B and his family are now doing good. He was able to visit churches and classes. However, nowadays, checkpoints are very strict and dangerous. Pray for safety at home and in ministry as well.
  • Pastor M and his family are well. They finished the harvest. He plans to move the whole family to another safe area where they can find a new farm to cultivate some plantations to support the family and ministry.
  • Pastor Y and his family are in good health. He cannot go back to the town to get CCI books. The regime does not allow people to enter the town. The civilians are attacking the regime nowadays. It is more brutal.
  • Pastor T and his family are good. This is harvesting season in his area. He meets more people on the farm and shares life experiences.
  • Pastor Z and his family are fine. He engaged new friends where he took refuge. Most of the time, he is with local leaders for the people who are in need.
  • Pastor S and his family are well. He teaches two training classes every weekend. He did a follow-up with two pastors and organized seminars in two churches. He is happy with what he is doing for the ministry.

Testimony

"I just finished Book #8 on teaching methods. This book is very special to me. The subject was totally different from what I thought. I learned not only about the importance of various teaching methods from Jesus and the Bible for effectiveness in the ministry, but it also helped me see the current conditions of the church. Throughout my studies, I have always reflected on how our church is doing with teaching. I learned that teaching is more foundational than knowledge of kingdom ministry. However, sadly, only very few churches launched teaching activities. I committed my life to be well equipped by the Word of God for this training purpose and to be a good example that leads more effectively in my discipleship ministry when I finish this course in the church and beyond. Thank you, CCI and teacher."

Prayer Requests & Praises

Praise Points:

  • I finished teaching Book #6 to 26 young people. They learned much more about the importance of personal spiritual life, which is the foundation of Christian life.
  • Praise for teaching Book #5 on Bible Doctrine to seven students online. We will finish soon.
  • God’s protection and provision upon all CCI-Myanmar teams and family members from airstrikes and many other junta attacks.

Prayer Points:

  • Pray for the safety of my trip from Dec 10-21 to attend the graduation and lead seminars such as the Teacher Training workshop and God’s Financial Principles in two churches. I expect over 70 pastors and church planters to attend. Pray that I can help these laborers in the kingdom be better equippers to impact the ministry by rightly handling God’s word.
  • Pray continually for area leaders, teachers, students, and CCI alumni as they face several challenges at home, in schools, and ministry. Children in civil war regions are not safe and need God’s special protection and provision.
  • We are seeking a new school for my daughter because the civil war in our country, Myanmar, has made it difficult to find a safe school within the country. Please pray for the guidance of God in finding the right school and gaining the necessary funding to finish her high school education.
  • This devaluation of our support drastically affects our family’s food budget. We are asking the Lord to provide an increase of $250 per month to meet these basic needs. Please consider making a new monthly commitment today to help meet this need. We thank you in advance for your help.
