A MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Board of Trustees Advancement Committee is seeking candidates to serve as Trustees with terms beginning in the 2024-2025 academic year. If you are interested in serving as a Trustee, please complete this interest form by March 15.  Expectations for Board of Trustees members include but are not limited to:

  1. Participation in the board member Live Oak giving goal;
  2. Attendance and active participation at all meetings and assigned committee meetings; and
  3. Commitment to attend the board training and annual retreat


Trustees will be selected based on their relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities in service to the Board governance role and announced to the school community in May. Please feel free to contact the Board of Trustees Advancement Committee HERE with any questions.

COMMUNITY EVENTS

PARENTS, HELP US MAKE JUBILEE A CELEBRATION OF TEACHERS! | Amidst the fun and fundraising at this year's 20th Anniversary Jubilee, we also have some very special celebrations of teachers in store! Parents, help make this a special evening for our teachers by sending a few lines about a beloved teacher to our Advancement Director Lacy McNamee. Another way to honor them is to donate a table to teachers by purchasing a table sponsorship HERE.

SAVE THE DATE FOR SERVICE! | SATURDAY, APRIL 13 | Join in the fellowship and get your service hours at this schoolwide event as we nurture our campus and build a culture of stewardship together as families. More info to come!

ACADEMICS

NATIONAL LATIN EXAM | FRIDAY, MARCH 15 | The NLE is given annually to Latin students across the U.S. and around the world. The NLE is not meant to be a competition but rather an opportunity for students to receive reinforcement and recognition for their accomplishments in the classroom. Depending upon their score, students may earn certificates, and medals, and may even qualify for scholarships.
