FHPTO Gala Tomorrow, February 23!

An invaluable community contributor is the PTO, raising approximately $52,000 for PreK-12 every year. About half of this is raised through one amazing event, the annual Gala. Come to this year's Gala: Par-Tee Fore the PTO on Saturday, February 23, 6-11 p.m. at the Desert Canyon Bar & Grill. Tickets are only $45 and online bidding is open and active now, with great items, including McDowell-specific must-have grade level art projects, VIP parking spaces, front row seats to  performances, Bobby and Muffin's assistant days, super creative class baskets, and tons of local and national donations. Boys and Girls Club is hosting Parents' Night Out at the same time so you can take your kids there.

You can bid and purchase even without attending the gala, though we would love to see you there. There will be a $10,000 putting contest, jewelry raffle from Sami Fine Jewelry, photo booth, and 50/50. Go to  www.fhptogala.givesmart.com to register for tickets and bidding. All funds go directly back to the teachers and students of our district, providing valuable resources such as homework labs; books; $200 to every teacher for supplies; site licenses for important online resources; STEM, art, PE and music equipment; teacher appreciation luncheons; and more!

Thank you so much for your love and support for FHUSD schools!  Below are photos of wonderful things that PTO does for us such as the September Apex Fun Run that raises almost $12,000 annually and the Scholastic Book Fair just before fall break that families enjoy greatly.
