Dear FHUSD Families and Friends,
In the 40 years I have lived in the valley, I have seen a dusting of snow several times, but never anything like we experienced over the past two days. I want to thank the transportation and facilities department for keeping our schools operational and children safe to and from school. Enjoy the pretty views and snow while it is around!
As a district we recognize and celebrate district wide events such as school letter grades, state Band and Wrestling Championships, Spelling Bee Winners and more. As a school we thank our PTO, parents and community volunteers, take pride in our veterans and attend spirit assemblies. As teachers and administrators we enjoy honoring our students’ academic and behavioral successes. As parents we thank our teachers and show our appreciation to all staff members for educating our children and keeping our children safe. The Fountain Hills Rotary Club, through principal recommendation, recognizes a teacher from FHUSD on a monthly basis for their outstanding work with students. The Chamber of Commerce also annually recognizes a teacher for their dedication and service. However, we need to show all of Arizona how “We Achieve and Celebrate Educational Excellence” in Fountain Hills. One way to do this is for you or your child to nominate a teacher for one of the following awards so we can continue to celebrate together!
