Winter Highlights!

Superintendent's Message

Greetings Families and Friends of Brown Deer,

I want to thank everyone for their participation in Parent-Teacher Conferences this past week. The conferences were well attended and no matter what achievement level your student is performing at, we hope that we can meet to discuss the progress of your child. Our teachers and staff work hard to prepare for the conferences. Please reconnect with your child's teacher/s if you have any additional concerns or questions.

We are excited to start our next strategic planning process -  "Defining Our Destiny 2.0 - Imagine the Possibilities." We had a "Gallery Walk" activity to start obtaining your feedback on some very important questions. We will share the results in the near future as we plan for the  Saturday, May 13th   Community Conversation starting at 8:30 the Novak Family Field House.

Also, stay tuned for more details as we send out a future survey in April to collect thoughts from parents, teachers, students, alumni and community members in regard to our "Vision of a Brown Deer Graduate." What are the knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed to be successful in a globally connected world?   We look forward to collecting this information to shape our plans and decisions.

Wishing you a great day!
Yours in Education,
Dr. Deb Kerr
