Greetings!
The calendar says it's Autumn. The trees haven't changed, but we have had some cool nights and sweatshirt weather is here. As many are getting back to the school schedule, we have a Fall schedule that is sure to give your spirit a boost. I hope you will join us any weekend, especially the following activities.
 39th Anniversary Weekend. This weekend, September 29 & 30, will be a celebration of our church's 39 years of ministry. We will recognize all members, past and present, especially charter members. The Saturday worship will include some fun with "That 70s Church." Dress in your 70s outfit and we'll sing some great old songs. On Sunday we'll have the New Destiny Quartet perform a concert during the morning service. We will have a dessert fellowship following the Saturday service and a carry-in dinner following the Sunday service.
Children of the World Choir - Oct. 14 @ 6:00 pm. Children of the World International Children's Choir is composed of orphaned and/or disadvantaged children from countries all over the globe. They will perform a special one-hour concert at Faith Baptist. Don't miss this unique experience.
Harvest Party - Sunday, Oc t. 28 @ 6-8pm. Hayride, games, food, bonfire & fun. Children may dress in their favorite animal, cartoon, or Bible character. Bring a bag of candy to give to the kids.
 Mission Conference 2012 on Nov 3 & 4. We will celebrate what God is doing through our missionaries and make financial commitments for the next year. Faith Baptist supports almost 50 missionaries in 25 countries with an annual budget of over $60,000.
Thanksgiving Dinner - Sunday, November 18 @ 6:00 p.m. Bring family and favorite food and join our annual. Thanksgiving Dinner. Music and testimonies will highlight this great time of gratitude to our Lord for all His blessings.
Advent Conspiracy - November 25 - December 23. We will throw a month-long kind of birthday party Jesus loves. We will turn Christmas upside-down. The emphasis will be to Worship Fully (Christmas is about Jesus), Spend Less (It's not about things), Give More (God gave Himself away to people He loves. Why don't we), Love All (Love knows no borders). We will give a little of the money we save to several great causes that help the temporary & eternal needs of people around the world. Join the Conspiracy!
 Night of Illusions - Saturday, December 8. Steve Harney will
pull out his bag of tricks and illusions for the family. Lots of fun and a great opportunity to invite friends and relatives to hear the Gospel.
Saturday Service. If Sunday worship doesn't fit into your life and style, try our Saturday service at 6 pm, featuring contemporary music and a casual style. It's the same as Sunday, but different. When you're busy Sunday, try Saturday! In addition, we have a dinner for all college students at 5:15 pm and an Adult Bible Fellowship following the Saturday evening worship time.
