Fall for Blairsville-Union County
|
Greetings!
As in the past, this fall is full of activities that make the season special. Festivals highlighting mountain arts & crafts, music, and traditional foods from the North Georgia Mountains are abundant.
Fall is the perfect season for outdoor activities. Take time to hike the Appalachian Trail, go boating on Lake Nottely, or fish in one of our pristine trout streams. In town, and along the local byways, shops are decorated with enticing treasures. Stop for a bite to eat at one of our restaurants and you can be assured of a warm, friendly welcome and good food. Reservations are already being made at local motels, campgrounds, cabins, and bed & breakfasts. Many of our accommodations members offer discounts so be sure to check the Hot Deals on the Chamber website: www.VisitBlairsvilleGA.com.
Whether you plan to make a day trip, take a long weekend, or spend a week, make plans to enjoy watching the mountain colors turn from dark green to golden yellow, deep red, and brilliant orange.
