We will be electronically filing your W-2's, 1099's and the NEW 1099-NEC forms this year. We are already reviewing information in QuickBooks and comparing to information at the electronic filing site to ensure data is accurate. Please review your employees and 1099 recipients for correct address information as soon as possible to ensure documents are mailed to the correct address for 2020.
NEW 1099 FORMS FOR 2020
There is a new form this year! The 1099-MISC has been redesigned and will no longer be used to report Nonemployee Compensation. While you may still issue the new form to report rent or payments to Attorneys, the new form, 1099-NEC has been created for the reporting of Nonemployee compensation. Read below to learn more about the 1099-NEC.
FORMS WILL BE PROCESSED EARLY FOR 2020! CHANGES IN JANUARY MAY NOT BE CAPTURED ON REPORTING!
Make sure to review all employees, nonemployee workers and service providers who will be receiving W-2's, 1099's or 1099-NEC's for 2020 to make sure the Federal Tax ID or Social Security numbers are correct.
Have employees moved this past year? Do they want their W-2, 1099 or 1099-NEC mailed to the address that you have on file in QuickBooks? A memo to the employees on the remaining paychecks for the year or on the paystubs or even a reminder email would be helpful.
PRICING CHANGES FOR FORMS
The cost to e-File, print and mail reporting forms to your W-2 and 1099 recipients is $4.75 per form for 2020. If ALL of your recipients have email addresses, the forms can be e-delivered, please notify us that you want this service. This price includes the setup of the account and employee information.

There is a new fee this year to comply with TIN (Tax ID Number) verification and a base fee of $20 will be charged for all accounts under 20 employees, $50 for all accounts with 21-50 employees and $75 for all accounts with 51 or more employees.
