Feeling festive? Every holiday season my heart is full knowing that our students are engaged in various community service activities. They're busy collecting canned goods, building a tree of warmth, wrapping gifts  and selling custom wreaths. We can all feel joyful knowing that our students are working to make a difference for families in our community.
Everyone Deserves a Donut

Thanks to the dedicated employees at Dawn Foods for providing all the ingredients and instruction for an exciting hands-on donut demonstration. Students utilized all of the delicious ingredients to build unique donut creations. Dawn Foods is committed to working with our high school students for the sole purpose of building a talented pipeline of employees in the future.
Clawbot Can Challenge
With the guidance of their classroom teacher, Mr. Takach, Architecture and Engineering Design (AED) students built the arena pictured above which was used for a Clawbot Can Challenge. In addition to collecting non-perishable food items, students had a little fun before donating the food. Students from several programs participated by controlling their clawbots which were built and programmed by the AED students. Each team was tasked with racing to see who could get three cans in a basket first.
