Just a reminder, the next time you are enjoying a meal at one of York's local diners, please peruse the placemat in front of you. Leave a Legacy is in the diner placemat ad rotation! If you find one of our ads, please take a photo and send it, along with the name of the diner where your photo was snapped, to the Marketing Committee at
lalyork@yorkbar.com
. We will be sharing some of these sightings on our Facebook page.
Also, in the coming months, we will have a couple of billboards around town with real donor photos that direct viewers to Leave A Legacy's website for full stories on how these individuals left a legacy in our community. We currently have two billboards drafted and would love to have additional donor stories. If you have one you would like to share, please reach out to the Marketing Committee. As one collective voice, we can begin to move the needle on York County residents leaving similar gifts. Additionally, if you see one of these billboards and can safely snap a photo, do so. Then share on your social media pages asking, "Have you thought lately about how you can leave a legacy?"
Let's continue to be one voice in sharing the Leave More Than Footprints message. To aid in this process, please be sure to share our social media posts and like the Leave a Legacy Facebook page.

Help us spread the word!
The marketing committee has brainstormed ways to create positive content to spread awareness of Leave a Legacy and, we hope, generate donors in the process. We are asking partners to assist in a few ways:
- Please submit a brief story (3-5 sentences) on how Leave a Legacy has impacted your non-profit. Example: The YWCA York received an estate gift of $250,000 - this means we were able to provide care packages for over 200 women and children in our shelters; and fund 100 girls on scholarship through the Girls on the Run program. This donor has Left a Legacy for the lives he or she touched.
- We have placemat ads at several local diners in the area. If you spot one, please snap a photo and send to LALYORK@Yorkbar.com with the location of where it was spotted.
- The items above will provide content for several areas, including our Facebook page. Please like the page, and share the page personally and on your business page.
- We are always looking for new content ideas, and welcome your creative thoughts.
