Welcome to the inaugural newsletter from the Open Cloud Institute (OCI)! OCI's vision is to become a leading research institute supporting education and research in cloud computing with local and global impact. In this issue, we highlight our Graduate Cloud Certificate program and its most recent recipient and share our ongoing research successes and select publications from the past academic year.

In August 2020, IEEE Spectrum featured AI research by OCI faculty member and co-director Dr. Jeff Prevost and student Sanchita Ghose in their Tech Alert series.
