Bringing Back Joy
Henderson Adult Day Reopens
Hip hip hooray! Henderson Adult Day is back in action! Earlier this year the program relocated from its former Flat Rock address on the Pardee campus to a new facility at 55 North Hillside Road in Hendersonville. As of July, our doors are open, and we are once again serving elders and adults in Henderson County!

Work is still being done to make the space our own. Kitchen plumbing updates and installation of fencing around the parameter of the building are being funded in part by a grant from The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina. Thank you, CFWNC, for your support of our program! We are looking forward to safely enjoying our new outdoor space!
New Location, New Program Manager
Please join us in welcoming Kelly Kimbley as the new Henderson Adult Day Program Manager!

Kelly may be new to this role, but she is no stranger to Adult Day Services. She was an integral part of the Buncombe team from 1999 - 2009 before pursuing a career in Human Resources. During her time away, Kelly says her "heart never left" and she remained in touch over the years.

"I knew that I would come back to MountainCare, but never knew at what capacity. Being able to return as a Program Manager is such a blessing," she explained.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys the outdoors and spending time with family and friends, including her husband, Ryan, daughter, Emma (7), and their sweet pup, Gypsy.
The pandemic forced us apart, but generosity can bring us back together. You can make positive changes in the lives of elders, adults with disabilities, caregivers, and people of all ages who use a wheelchair.

We hope you will consider supporting MountainCare again this year!
