In celebration of October as Manufacturing Month, the series begins with QVCC Alumna Kristina Davenport '19.

1. What did you study at QVCC? 
I first earned an Advanced Manufacturing Certificate in 2017 and then continued my education by earning an A.S. in Engineering Science in 2019.

2.What programs or projects did you participate in during your time at QVCC?
As part of the first group in the new Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center (AMTC), I was part of the “Make It Here” initiative involving Governor Malloy. I also have participated in promotions for the AMTC as a woman in manufacturing, featured on the QVCC website and also as part of a 4-woman panel of QVCC graduates for the Women in Manufacturing event in 2019. I was selected for a trip to France as part of a program that hosts students in American Community Colleges for a 2 week boot camp on the topic of “Active Citizenship in the Digital Area” hosted in Caen, Normandy, France....
