Age is Just a Number Success!

Our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported "Age is Just a Number." In celebration of National Seniors Day, SSSBC came together with friends, volunteers, partners, and stakeholders to celebrate the unique work we do in helping vulnerable older adults overcome isolation and homelessness.


In total, we raised $30,000 for vulnerable seniors! Thank you for your support and for making a difference in their lives.

Carolina Ibarra

Carolina Ibarra, CEO of Pacifica Housing, joined the SSSBC Board of Directors in September 2023. Carolina brings extensive experience from her previous role as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Brightside Community Homes Foundation in Vancouver. During her tenure there, she led a community development initiative focused on improving housing stability through strategic partnerships. She also spearheaded efforts to double the organization's affordable housing offerings over the next decade.

Dal Sahota

Dal Sahota became a member of the SSSBC Board in August 2023. With an impressive 25 years of experience in construction and land development, he has most recently served as the Managing Director of StoneCreek LLC, specializing in wood-frame apartment construction. Dal is widely acknowledged as a senior leader and consultant in prefab construction. While he has contributed to numerous private condominium projects, his true passion lies in making affordable housing a reality. "Everyone deserves a safe, comfortable place to call home."
