Open Doors Property Navigator

Lisa Carter, SSVF, Lead Housing Specialist at Hope Atlanta, has demonstrated extraordinary dedication in her efforts to house veterans over the past few months.

Leveraging the Open Doors’ Property Locator Application, Lisa effectively communicates with her clients, property managers, and Open Doors staff. Lisa has been instrumental in placing several veterans into stable housing. Her proactive approach, accountability, and attention to detail with documentation and follow-ups have made a significant impact for her clients.

Lisa has also collaborated with Open Doors’ Housing Support Navigation program to ensure her Hope Atlanta team is quickly trained and actively engaged with the Open Doors’ Community. As an advocate for Open Doors within Hope Atlanta, Lisa has helped ensure that everyone inside Hope Atlanta fully understands how the Community Application and the Open Doors process works to help our partners efforts.  

Lisa consistently recognizes and celebrates the contributions of the Open Doors team, highlighting successful placements and fostering a strong partnership. Lisa’s leadership and commitment to her work continue to positively influence the success of housing efforts at both Open Doors and Hope Atlanta.
