In September, CP&A President Curt Pringle had the privilege of being the guest speaker at the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Orange County/Inland Empire Multifamily Development Group meeting. During this event, Curt provided a comprehensive update on state and local legislation, offering valuable insights into the political forces influencing housing policy and sharing his vision for the future of housing in the region.

In July, CP&A was honored to host a Legislative Staffer Luncheon in collaboration with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast (BGCOC). Serving children and families in Costa Mesa, Irvine, Newport Beach, Orange and Santa Ana, BGCOC is dedicated to ensuring that every child has mentors and champions to guide them in life.
We had the privilege of touring their impressive facilities where we learned about impactful programs like the Family Strengthening Initiative, College Bound and Workforce Development, as well as their strong partnerships with local nonprofits. We also explored the on-site CHOC clinic and heard firsthand about the positive influence BGCOC has on the surrounding community.
We thank all the legislative staffers who attended, with a special thanks to BGCOC Chief Operating Officer, Kristle Duran and BGCOC Director of Philanthropy, David Blair for their hospitality and thoughtful insight.

Polco has recently embarked on one of its most ambitious projects around the city of Ontario. They will be collecting data on community sentiment regarding key public policy issues across five cities in the region. This comparative data will enable city leaders to benchmark against one another, offering critical insights that lead to more informed decision-making. CP&A is happy to support our client Share Ourselves as they continue to expand their services throughout the region. In a recent endeavor, Share Ourselves expanded their Mission Viejo clinic, doubling the number of medical exam rooms and introducing dental services.
Share Ourselves is a federally qualified health center in the heart of Orange County providing comprehensive health and support services to those in need. They are committed to providing these services regardless of insurance status placing a priority on physical, mental and emotional well-being. They offer services such as preventive care, wellness visits, sick visits, immunizations, health screenings, behavioral health, case management and eligibility screenings.
CP&A had the opportunity to support Share Ourselves as they partnered with the Newport Mesa Unified School District (NMUSD) to open a new clinic at the BESST Center in Costa Mesa. These kinds of partnerships are crucial for their expansion efforts.
During national health center week in August, Share Ourselves distributed approximately 1000 backpacks to students to prepare for the new school year. Share Ourselves remains committed to their mission to provide care and assistance to those in need and advocate for systemic change. We could not be more honored to call them a client during this exciting time of growth.
