September 2025... 84 Baptisms & 2 New Churches!

In the month of September six of our most recent FCP plants have celebrated 84 baptisms!

God is moving in powerful ways across our state. These 84 baptisms represent 84 changed lives who will now spend eternity in Heaven. This is the primary reason we plant churches. We believe church plants reach lost people faster than any other method. Join us in celebrating God’s goodness and let’s ask God to keep pouring out His blessings!

After a year of preparation and relationship building, Unity Christian Church officially launched on September 7 in Leesburg! More than 160 people filled the room for Unity's first official worship gathering. Lead Minister David Miller has worked hard to build a strong core team and staff team. The launch service was a beautiful, multi-generational and multi-cultural representation of God’s family.

Unity is an exciting partnership between FCP, Fairway Christian Church, New Day Christian Church and Dade City Christian Church. These partner churches have generously underwritten Unity’s financial needs, provided volunteers for pre-launch activities, and some have members serving on Unity's Management Team. FCP believes partnerships like this are vital to successful church planting across Florida. Please continue to pray for our church planters, David and Dimara Miller, and for continued growth and impact through Unity Christian Church!

FCP has partnered with Tomoka Christian Church to support the launch of their New Smyrna Beach campus. The vision is for this campus to grow into a healthy, self-sustaining church that will become fully independent.

Their launch on September 7 was an incredible success, with 407 people in attendance! Due to the amazing response, the church is moving to two services starting in just their second week. Please pray for Campus Pastor Chad Holmes as he leads this exciting new church!

Thrive Church Servicio Latino

Florida Church Planters and the Latino Christian Movement are excited to partner with Thrive Christian Church in Lake Nona to launch a new Spanish-speaking service, led by Hector Bonilla.

Our vision is to create a model where both the English and Spanish-speaking congregations function as one unified church family. We believe this model will be able to be replicated throughout Florida and have the ability to meet the spiritual and cultural needs of both first generation as well as second and third generation Latino families. Over the next year, we hope to be able to start sharing what we learn with churches across Florida!

Coming Soon!

We are anticipating the births of two more churches very soon! Coastline Christian Church in Sarasota will launch on what used to be the campus of Southside Christian Church on October 26. Michael and Amani Swearingen have been working hard to create a strong launch team, raise funds and renovate the existing building.

Compassion Miami will also launch soon. The target date is also October 26 as long as renovation work is completed. Cesar and Gisella have also been working for the last year to build a strong team and renovate the building they were given by South Dade Christian Church.
