SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES

PHILIPPIANS: The Gospel of Joy

Class Leader: Pastor Jeff

Sunday Mornings 10:30 am Room 221 beginning 9/20

There is a passage in the Bible that tells us that "the joy of the Lord is our strength" (Nehemiah 8:10). What does this mean? Can I find in God the kind of joy that actually carries me, a delight that infuses my day to day living. The Book of Philippians answers that question.

*THE FOLLOWING CLASSES BEGIN ON 9/23*

Philippians: The Gospel of Joy

Class leader:  Pastor Jeff

Location: Sanctuary

There is a passage in the Bible that tells us that "the joy of the Lord is our strength" (Nehemiah 8:10). What does this mean? Can I find in God the kind of joy that actually carries me, a delight that infuses my day to day living. The Book of Philippians answers that question.

Sermon Application Class

Class Leader: Pastor Bob Myers

Location: Room 125

Go deeper than Sunday’s sermon by slowing down in the Scriptures, exploring the theology behind Jesus’ teaching, wrestling honestly with current issues, and asking what faithful obedience looks like in ordinary life. This elective will create space for thoughtful discussion, difficult questions, and practical discernment as we move from hearing Jesus to living Jesus’ way. Together, we will examine where comfortable Christianity, cultural assumptions, and our own habits compete with the radical claims of the King—and encourage one another toward a deeper, more visible, and notably radical allegiance to Jesus and His Kingdom. Taught by Pastor Bob

The Continuation of The Gospel of John

Class Leader: Denise Class

Location: Room 212

If you’ve attended the class for the last 2 seasons, “Welcome Back” or if you haven’t had a chance to attend, “Come Join Us” as we continue our verse by verse study in the Gospel of John. We'll see how God's attributes are revealed through Christ with connections to Old Testament prophecy. We’ll deeply explore the Word of God testifying to the humility & the beautiful sacrificial love & forgiveness of our Lord Jesus Christ, as we see Him continuing to do the will of the Father through His arrest, sentencing, crucifixion, & the restoration of one of His own devoted disciples who denied Him.
