TSOC FALL BRAND CAMPAIGN CAPTURES THE ADVENTURE-TRAVELER DRIVE MARKET

On September 18, TSOC launched its fall brand campaign. Running for seven weeks, the campaign is targeted to garner 2.4 million impressions and features three key objectives:

  • Inspire fall travel
  • Capture immediate travel intent & move audiences closer to booking
  • Get viewers to click through to a new fall itinerary story

This multichannel, drive-market capture campaign showcases the sensory experiences of activities and scenic beauty that make the Southern Oregon Coast special in the fall. Think fresh seafood, misty trails with epic ocean views, fall fishing, paddling, mountain biking, and more. Our new fall itinerary story gives travelers a practical guide on when, where, and how to experience it all — from riding the dunes and hiring a fishing guide to hiking the best trails and attending fun fall events all along the South Coast.

The campaign runs across Meta platforms, YouTube, Google Search, and targeted websites, reaching audiences in Northern California and Oregon along the I-5 corridor. Watch our new "Ride, Fish, Paddle & Hike the Southern Oregon Coast" video running as part of the campaign.

FROM OUR OREGON COAST PARTNERS: FLORENCE INTRODUCES THE COASTAL CANINE CLASSIC - AN ANNUAL FALL CELEBRATION TO BENEFIT THE ENTIRE REGION

The Florence Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to introduce the Coastal Canine Classic, taking place in Florence on October 16–18. They've designed the event to be an annual fall celebration that draws visitors to the area, drives overnight stays, and encourages guests to explore local shops, restaurants, attractions, and outdoor activities.

Coastal travelers rarely stick to one town. They explore up and down the Oregon Coast; stopping for meals, shopping, and activities along the way. As the Coastal Canine Classic grows, organizers believe it can generate meaningful tourism and economic benefits for Florence and neighboring communities alike.

Oregon Coast region visitors in 2024-2025 reported a total average daily trip spend of $862. Lodging represents the largest share at $249, followed by restaurants and dining out at $164. Out-of-state visitors spent the highest average of $995 per party, per day.
