Residence Hall Check-In | Oct. 9, 2020
In order to keep our campus residents up to date on policy changes and information regarding COVID-19, we'll be sending frequent emails throughout the fall semester.

Please feel free to contact a member of our staff if you have questions or concerns. At the bottom of this message you'll find a list of helpful resources.
During the remote instruction period between fall and winter breaks (Nov. 29-Dec. 12), you’ll have the option of residing in your residence hall space or staying at your permanent residence.

To help us determine the necessary level of staffing and services to provide, we’re asking you to complete this short, three-question survey to indicate your current plans. Please complete the survey only once.

In November, you will be asked to complete an official intention form and schedule your departure date if you will leave campus during fall break.

A few important details about the remote instruction period:

  • Students who stay during the remote instruction period (Nov. 29-Dec. 12) will have access to meals in a dining center. Location and hours of operation will be determined and published in the coming weeks.
  • Students who choose not to stay in the residence halls during the remote instruction period will be eligible for a pro-rated credit for those two weeks if they fully complete the departure process, which will be shared with students in November.
  • Students who plan to return for the spring semester do NOT have to move their belongings out of the room for the remote instruction period or the break periods. They need to take only what they will need while they're away from campus.
The survey will close on Tuesday, Oct. 20.
