It has been a week of both sadness and gratitude for our Pioneer community.
Yesterday, we gathered to say our final goodbye to our beloved Father Dan. Thank you to the many students, families, faculty, and staff who took the time to attend his funeral. While we are deeply saddened by his passing, this week has also given us many opportunities to remember the good times, the stories, and his infectious laughter. We will certainly miss him, but his impact on Providence will remain with us.
Today marks the beginning of fall break, and I hope our students, families, and staff have an opportunity to slow down, rest, and enjoy some time together.
The week we return will include SAT and PSAT testing. Students should be in their testing rooms and ready to begin by 8:15 a.m. They will be released after their tests, which will likely be around 11:15–11:30 a.m.
Wednesday, October 14: 9th graders and a portion of our seniors will test. 10th and 11th graders will not have school.
Thursday, October 15: 10th and 11th graders will test. 9th and 12th graders will not have school.
I hope everyone has a restful and enjoyable fall break. Take some time to recharge, enjoy your families, and make some good memories. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday, Oct. 12.
