Fall Colors and Fall Escapes
What a wonderful time to take a trip to the mountains as nature provides us with a riot of colors, be it the glorious gold of aspens or the red, orange, and yellow hues of the maples, oaks, and dogwoods. Where to go for the best array of Fall colors? Give us a call!
Last month, we bemoaned the fate of Maui and particularly Lahaina. We have recently received news that Hawaii Governor Josh Green says that West Maui will be prepared to receive tourists beginning on October 8. Ka’anapali, Napili, and Kapalua will fully reopen. Lahaina, of course, will remain off-limits. We concur with Governor Green when he says, “This difficult decision is meant to bring hope for recovery to the families and businesses on Maui that have been so deeply affected.” Mahalo to those who have the capability of returning to this magical island.
Many of us have been to the Caribbean, but did you know there are more than 7000 islands there? Beach lovers are lured by the many stunning stretches of beaches. But which is the best? Tripadvisor reviewers “looked to the Dutch island of Aruba and picked the idyllic Eagle Beach as the winner.” With winter on the horizon, is this a good time to plan a trip to Aruba or any of the other fabulous islands in the Caribbean?
A couple of weeks ago, Betty and I attended our parent company’s training session called Bootcamp. The awards banquet revealed that Exclusive Global Travel did not come home empty-handed as we were awarded a Goal Buster Award for a minimum 20% increase in sales year-to-year. We also received awards for having the second most Princess sales and the second most Travel Insurance sales company-wide. These awards belong to you, our wonderful clients, without whom these achievements would not have been possible. We humbly say, “Thank You.”
We have frequently written about the huge travel surge as the pent-up demand continues. This is reflected in the many new adventures in this newsletter, including several new 2024 itineraries, an Eastern Mediterranean cruise to the Holy Land and Egypt in March, and an Alaska cruise in August.
