End of Year Deadlines

For 2023 gift acknowledgement, please consider the following dates and times:


December 29: Gifts made via wire transfer must be initiated during business hours;


Gifts of securities must be received in a Community Foundation brokerage account by 5PM.


December 30: Checks sent via U.S. Postal Service must be postmarked.


December 31: Credit card gifts must be completed by 11:59PM.

Grantees Find

Common Cause in a Common Space

In downtown Richmond, three grantees of the Community Foundation’s Fund for Entrepreneurial Growth - Startup Virginia, Bridging Virginia, and the Metropolitan Business League - now operate under one roof at the 1717 Innovation Center. Together, these organizations have created a "front door" for the region's entrepreneurial and small business ecosystem, especially for business leaders who are from underrepresented groups in the space.
