Message from the Board Chair

Dear friends and supporters of the Colorado Women's Hall of Fame,

As the holiday season approaches, I want to take a moment to share my gratitude for your support of the CWHF and our mission to promote and celebrate great women from Colorado.

Your generous contributions and support have bolstered our commitment to “Honoring the Past and Inspiring the Future”. This year we celebrated with our Class of 2022 Induction Gala and two new Heartland Emmy Award wins this fall for our Great Women of Colorado Film Series. As 2023 draws to a close, I hope you’ll join us for our upcoming Holiday Tea Event/Colorado Gives Fundraiser RSVP HERE on Monday, December 4. I’d love to see you there! If you’re unable to join us in person, and want to donate to our Colorado Gives Campaign, you can do so HERE until December 5, 2023.

We are looking forward to continuing this mission into the new year, and are actively accepting nominations for the Class of 2024. I urge you to consider nominating women who are inspiring future generations through their accomplishments and impact.

On behalf of the entire board, I wish you and your family a happy and healthy holiday season. Again, I thank you for your support of the CWHF, and I look forward to seeing you again soon.

With warm regards,

Barbara Beckner, CWHF Board Chair

Our vision at PPSC is “Students Succeed at PPSC”

We believe that all students regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, etc., need role models to learn about and potentially emulate and CWHF provides outstanding examples of some of the amazing women that call or called Colorado their home who have shaped our state and our nation.

CWHF's mission is to inspire and these women and their achievements can help inspire the future leaders and citizens who graduate from Pikes Peak State College.

Welcoming new member Pam Dunbar and welcome back previous board member, Alexis Anderten

Pam Dunbar

Pam is very excited to join the board of the Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame. With a long family history on the Western Slope, and inspiring women in her own family, she looks forward to honoring the incredible women who have made such an impact in Colorado. She will assist with marketing and communications strategy honoring these women and all of the contributions

made past, and present.

Alexis Anderten

I’m joining the Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame board as I believe strongly in the Hall’s mission. I want to do my part in honoring and preserving the stories of the Colorado women who have made an enduring contribution to our state, nation, and the world.
