Finding Comfort, Peace, and Joy

Through our work with grieving adults and children we know that finding a safe, sacred place to express and explore the loss of a loved one, to learn about the different ways to grieve, to find ways to honor and remember, and to build a legacy is essential to healing, growth, and transformation.

The death of a loved one or someone significant in our lives changes us at a very deep level. For some the loss is expected and possibly a relief. For others, it is an unexpected loss, sudden, perhaps violent. Our loss is transformational, painful, a blessing or a tragedy. A proverb says that shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared is doubled.

There comes a moment, an instant where a decision is made to walk through the door to the other side of loss. A moment where finding comfort, peace, and joy through community and support is the key. We offer these events and groups in support of the grief journey you travel to remind you that you are not alone.
