Happy Fall

After weeks of temperatures that felt like over 100 degrees, we are happy fall has arrived, and so are the dogs!

We have great plans for the fall! Dog park-branded coffee mugs and "special edition" T-shirts in limited numbers will be added to existing caps, and Tervis Tumblers for our Sales for Tails events. Car and refrigerator magnets, doggie scarves, and 10th anniversary tote bags will still be available.

Heading into the holidays, for those dogs who want to surprise their dog-Mom or Dad with a Pooch Portrait, our popular dog photography event (see above details!) is planned for Saturday, November 7th from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Quiet Dog Area.

My Pooch Paints, for dogs with an artistic flair, is scheduled for Sunday, November 22nd. More to come on this returning event!

Thank you for being such GREAT patrons and for helping us keep tails wagging! We appreciate you—and so do our four-legged friends!

PLEASE Get Your Dogs Chipped & Registered!

Recently, we alerted people through our email, Facebook, Ring, and in several other places that two dogs had been found crossing A1A. Neither dog had an ID on their collar.

When taken to a local vet, one dog had been chipped, but the chip was never registered. The second dog did not have a chip.

If you adopt a dog from a shelter, it may be chipped but not registered - or, not chipped at all. Always ask! If your dog is not chipped, do it soon and register the chip!

Have an identification tag on your dog's collar with a phone number. There are also collars that you can buy with your contact information on the collar - no tag needed. And, tags that say "Chipped & Registered" and include your contact info.

Make sure your dog(s) have the proper ID so they can be returned to you!

You MUST leash your dog outside the fence! In our lease with the City, it states: "Dog owners shall not allow their dog off-leash except within the confines of the Premises."
