10:30 am
Sermon:
"Prophetic Witness in a Time of Fear"
Sacred Text:
Zechariah 2:10-11, 3:10, 7:8-10
| | |
This Sunday, we continue our journey through the voices of the minor prophets, listening for how they call us to live faithfully in the midst of real-world challenges. Last week, we wrestled with the presence of hate. This week, we turn toward fear—guided by the words of Zechariah.
Fear often arises not from truth, but from the stories we’re told, the pressures we feel, and the ways we’re taught to see others as threats. It can be a powerful force—one that shapes communities, policies, and hearts. But scripture invites us to respond not with retreat, but with courage rooted in love.
Come join us this Sunday as we reflect together on what it means to live by faith in a world that often stirs fear. Let’s listen, pray, and imagine a more courageous way forward.
Blessings,
Rev. Ray
