Fall Fitness Classes Start Next Week

Fit Blast: Cardio, Strength, and Abs (Course 13443) on Monday afternoons and Total Body Workout with Bands (Course 13444) on Friday mornings, both with Jeannine Palermo, are great ways to commit to staying in shape as the weather changes and activities move indoors.

New sessions of her Body Sculpting classes (Thursday mornings in person: Course 13446; Thursday afternoons online: Course 13445) and the chair-based version, Sit and Be Fit: Chair-Based Body Sculpting (Tuesday afternoons: Course 13447; Thursday mornings: Course 13448) involve exercises that safely increase muscular strength and endurance and will improve flexibility, range of motion, and body tone.

All of the above begin next week.

New sessions of Walk 15®, a low impact aerobic style group exercise with Heather Buyers also resume next week. Her easy-to-follow routines are all set to catchy music for a fun workout. Online Walk 15® (Course 13470) meets Monday mornings and in-person Walk 15® (Course 13469) meets Tuesday mornings.

Penny Bowman will lead more Movement to Music classes, complete with live piano accompaniment. Tuesday morning hybrid sessions meet in person (Course 13497) or online (Course 13498), Thursday morning sessions meet online only (Course 13500), and Friday morning sessions meet in person only (Course 13499), all starting next week.

Louise Fecher's in-person courses pick up again next Tuesday with Essential Yoga (Course 13556) starting at 9:30am and Gentle Yoga (Course 13557) at 10:45am. Practice classic and foundational yoga poses to increase strength and flexibility, improve posture and balance, and stabilize joints and bones.

Postural Therapy Movement (Course 13501) with Joey Zimet returns on Wednesday mornings. Learn realignment techniques to stand or sit up straight, walk with efficiency and balance, and breathe more naturally. Classes will be recorded and available for registered students to watch on demand for those unable to attend live.

New this fall is Mat Pilates led by Dara Fastag. Improve your posture, balance, core strength and flexibility with each exercise flowing into the next. Accessible to all fitness levels, this classical Pilates class is offered on Monday mornings (Course 13615) and Friday mornings (Course 13616), both starting next week.
