The Fall Flights Advisory Committee welcomes Kyle Briggs, Executive Director of the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission (NCWRC), as its newest member. He succeeds Austin Booth of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC), who recently stepped down after leaving the agency.
“It’s incredible what states and partners have accomplished together to conserve waterfowl habitat in Canada,” said Briggs. “I’m honored to serve and will do all I can to help states achieve their Fall Flights goals.”
Briggs brings nearly a decade of leadership experience to the role. As NCWRC Chief Deputy Director (2015-2024), he was a strong advocate for Fall Flights. He helped guide the agency to 87% of its goal and developed a clear path to achieve it soon.
“We thank Austin Booth for his service and are thrilled to welcome Kyle,” said Committee Chair Ryan Brown. “Kyle’s commitment to conservation, understanding of agency challenges, and track record of effective leadership make him an ideal addition as we continue working toward our shared goal.”
As your state explores ways to contribute to the Uniting States for Fall Flights campaign, we encourage you to reach out to Kyle or other committee members for ideas and support in overcoming obstacles.
