Our Once-a-Year Fall Fundraiser Continues - 2nd Week

If you have already contributed, we sincerely thank you for your donation. If you have not contributed yet, please consider doing so. Donating to Strangers No Longer is a way to make an impact in these difficult times.

We are faced with the prospect of more raids, deportations, and increasing militarization of our city streets. Your financial support is needed now more than ever, so that Strangers No Longer can grow our support and continue to provide education, direct support, and advocacy to promote humane immigration policies. Every dollar counts!

Help us reach our goal of $120,000!

So far in this fundraising effort, we have been blessed to receive $14,884.

Strangers No Longer Circles Assist

Families in Crisis Team

Circle leaders are organizing their circles, parishes, and friends to respond to immigrant families suffering from the family separations through detention and deportation. At least 10 parishes are taking responsibility for the survival and health of immigrant families, and every 2 weeks, a Stranger No Longer network of nearly 30 people meets by zoom to coordinate care for families and individuals by providing visits and conversation, translation services, childcare, clothing, financial assistance, and accompaniment to court dates. They were even able to help a mother through her recent birth of her baby. This Stranger No Longer network is called FACT, or Family Assistance in Crisis Team. Contact us at info@strangersnolonger.org for more information.
