Transportation
We will have a van available for shuttling people to and from the dinner on Saturday night. If you’re going to need this or need help coordinating transportation otherwise, please be sure to call David at (570-352-7137) so he can make try to connect you with a ride.
Parking
The Plumier Foundation
There is a limited amount of parking in the lot to the left-hand side of 33 New Broad Street, Port Chester 10573, across from Neri’s Bakery. There are “Permit Parking Only” signs, but you can get a pass for that parking lot from us when you arrive. We are only one amidst a building full of businesses, so please be courteous and leave some spaces closer to building for other tenants. If the lot is full there is public parking on the street and also in the lot across the street at Neri’s bakery. There is a 2-hour limit on those spots, so if you have to use them remember to feed the meter. There should be enough parking for everyone, however.
Do not park on the right hand side of the building, please.
Enter either through the front door and then the door straight in front of you or enter through the man door at the left end of the building at the top of the metal stairs. If you enter at the end of the building, the Plumier shop is all the way down the hall at the last door on the left.
Please note: no one is to be in the room without a name badge, and name badges are distributed upon signing a “hold harmless” release form.
Bill Ruprecht’s
Saturday evening’s dinner will be at Bill’s place, 1 Greenfield Place, Greenwich, CT. Please park along the street. It’s the first residence on the left. At this point the weather forecast is for "dry and crisp." Wear a sweater or jacket, and Bill will have fires going both outside and in. This is an informal occasion and most of us will be arriving straight from the shop or a day of touring, so dress casually.
Restaurants
There are many local restaurants within walking distance of Plumier and an impressive array of them within a couple mile radius. There’s something for everyone, but we will list a few of our favorites.
