Legacy Foundation's Transform Lake County grant application opens September 1!

Join us to learn about Legacy Foundation's Transform Lake County application process at one of our upcoming grant orientations.

While attending a training is not required to apply, it is recommended.

Transform Lake County grants support programming that seeks to strengthen and empower nonprofits, neighborhoods, and residents in Lake County, Indiana.

Not-for-profit organizations serving any town or city in Lake County, Indiana are eligible to apply. Grant awards range from $2,000 to $35,000. Applications will be accepted September 1 - October 1, 2023.

Transform Lake County grants support our communities with a sharpened focus on the most pressing challenges our community is facing today: systemic racism and racial injustice, and the underinvestment and lack of infrastructure in under-resourced and marginalized communities across Lake County. 

Transform Lake County grants are supported by the Lake County Community Fund and multiple Unrestricted Funds at Legacy Foundation. Additional support comes from the U.S. Steel/City of Gary Indiana Charitable Fund and the Legacy Women's Philanthropy Fund.
