Fulfilling the Promise!

Want to know what's happening these days at
Family Promise of Morris County?
This fall, we will release our “State of Family Promise” video to kick off our Fulfilling the Promise campaign.

In the video, Joann Bjornson, CEO, along with staff and Board members, will provide
updates on the status of programs,
successes, and the great gratitude we have to be able to serve our community.

Previous guests will share their stories and the impact our volunteers and supporters have had on their lives.
Keep an eye out for an emailed invitation!
COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
Madison Rotary Club's End Hunger Event
The Madison Rotary Club held its annual End Hunger event for local non-profit agencies, and provided 2,000 pounds of non-perishable food for all the families in our programs!

We are grateful for our long-standing partnership with the Madison Rotary Club and their strong support of those in need.

Thank you for this extra level of support during an extra challenging time!
COMMUNITY SUPPORT
Women's Financial Workshop

Financial Coach, Aurilis Sanchez of Primerica, held a virtual financial workshop for a group of women in our Community Support Program. In the workshop, the women learned about budgeting, saving, insurance, and basic investment strategies. Aurilis presented the topics in a fun, lively, and understandable way that helped the attendees feel comfortable and engaged.

The women had a great time, learned a lot, and are looking forward to the next workshop! Thank you, Aurilis!

If you are interested in attending a financial workshop, offered in both English and Spanish, or would like to connect with Aurilis directly, she may be reached at [email protected] or 973-714-8698.
NJ 2-1-1

A huge thank you to NJ 2-1-1, New Jersey's hotline for homelessness and crisis, for donating 10 laptops to our families! Up-to-date technology such as a laptop is essential for families whose children are learning remotely.

Our partnerships with Morris County services and the mutual support shown is how we serve those in need together!
Shionogi, Inc.

Thank you so much Shionogi Inc. of Florham Park for providing 20 new iPads for our neighbors in need! The iPads will help tremendously with our families' digital and virtual needs and give them access to additional resources.

Our families are thrilled to be thought of and cared for, and we appreciate this high level of support!
Long Hill Chapel

Thank you Long Hill Chapel for donating a large supply of masks, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and toiletries for our families!

They are thrilled to have these essential items, and we greatly appreciate your generosity and support!
Caring Capital

Thank you Caring Capital for partnering with us and creating customized gifts of gratitude for our incredibly supportive congregation coordinators and volunteers!

Our volunteers love their cloth masks and coordinating journal, bookmark, tea, and Family Promise pen. We love the care that went into making each one of them unique!

Thank you also to the anonymous donor who provided funding for the gift packages!
