When the Summer boating season comes to an end, I'm often asked "Do we take the winter off"? The response, of course, is no:) Our Crew of 38 full-time employees work fifty weeks a year with priorities changing with the seasons. Each time I'm asked this question, however, it reminds me of one of the reasons why I LOVE spending my days at the marina. With the seasonality and variety of our full-service operations and connection with customers at various locations throughout the year, I'm never bored. I've heard many of our Crew echo the same sentiment.
As our Service Team ramps up to full speed to prepare 400+ boats to rest for the winter, our Sales Team prepares for Boat Show Season kicking off with Fort Lauderdale at the end of October.
There are many reasons why we attend a Boat Show in Florida and the most important one is that it's the Show that most of our customers attend! All of the boat brands that we represent assemble large in-water displays of almost all of their models making comparison shopping easy ... while walking the docks sipping on a beverage with friends ... listening to Jimmy Buffett music playing in the background.
