As I was sitting on my back deck last evening I found myself admiring the golden luminosity of the leaves that were saturated by the long rays of the sun. The contrast of the deep blue cloudless sky was just stunning. It made me think of the various messages we have received in Spirit School from the Angels over the years telling us that the beauty we see around us on Earth very much resembles the beauty that is in the heaven worlds. For that brief time I did feel as if I was in heaven.

We have been gifted with many wonderful Angelic teachings in the Words of Light series that I have been doing this year, receiving teachings from different Archangels that have provided illuminating ways of looking at the world and our lives here, as well as some deeply meaningful healing experiences. I’ve included a portion of a transcript from one of those evenings for you from Archangel Michael’s talk at the end of this newsletter. He discussed the transition from this world to the next when we “die.” I think you will enjoy it!

For Spirit School, this year is rapidly coming to a close and we are meditating on what we will present in 2025. Kemper and I still have a few evenings left of our Seeking the Light Within series that you can sign up for. We will interview a colleague and friend of mine who has passed over about what his life is like on the other side. I think that will be very interesting! Many of you have talked with loved ones who have passed in your sessions with me. This will be a more encompassing conversation with someone who promised me before he passed that he would share with my classes what it’s like to be looking back at his earthly life from his new perspective.

I am very thankful for this week of cooler weather and know that fall is just around the corner. If you are within driving distance, I hope you will come to our Spirit School Fall Gathering, “Activating Your Spiritual Power,” in Sperryville, VA on October 12. We will explore what it means to have dominion over our lives and to create strong energetic protection for ourselves. The drive will be quite beautiful, and it’s only a little over an hour from DC, Charlottesville and Winchester. The room is large enough for us to have some distance between our chairs, and hugs are available to all who are comfortable with that. It would be so great to see you there!

Message from Archangel Michael

Q: What happens when a child passes over?

Archangel Michael: When a Soul passes to the other side, whether through an abbreviated life – in other words, only weeks or months within the womb – or whether through a fully lived existence, the experience is the same for one and for all. And that experience is passing from the physical plane to what is known as the “spiritual plane.” I prefer to call it the ”non-physical plane” because all planes are actually spiritual. When a Soul passes from the physical plane back to the non-physical plane from where it came, it enters into a benevolent, God-force field of Love and Light. And the entryway into that field provides an immediate healing experience, because all Souls need that whether they have had a large degree or a small degree of trauma in their lifetime.

The process of leaving the physical and passing back into the non-physical takes a lot of energy. It takes a lot of focus and energy to be able to pass gracefully from one dimension to the other. You describe giving birth as the physical appearance of a child. We describe giving birth in the reverse. When you are experiencing what you call dying – and this is true no matter what gender you might be – you are giving birth to your new form, your non-physical form on what is known as “the other side.” It's an arduous process, whether it happens in 10 seconds or 30 days. It is arduous only because there is no formula for how to go about it.

There are many good suggestions, suggestions I would concur with, but there is no formula. There's nothing that says step one, step two, step three, step four. It's a series of unknown circumstances or unknown events that lead up to the passing, whether it is predicted or not. There is a series of preparatory events that occur. And when the actual entry into the non-physical dimension occurs, it is an entry into a field of Divine Love. It is a beautiful experience for every Soul that passes no matter the length of their lifespan on the earth plane.

Q: Does the Soul continue to grow up? Does a child Soul come as a little child, an infant perhaps, and then continue to grow up as a child in the heavenly realms?

Archangel Michael: No, this is not true. However, when a child passes, for whatever reason, whether the child is one year, six years, eight years, the Soul that was embodied as a child continues for a short while to live as a child on the other side until it acclimates or integrates back into its Soul self.

Your Souls are not male or female, they are not children, they are not adults. Your Souls are beyond all of that. And so, those children who pass, who leave the physical form and go into the non-physical realm, will continue to understand themselves as children for a while. It varies in time how long it takes for them to become aware of themselves as a Soul, which means that they are much more than the personality self.

As you can imagine, the same is true for those who are adults. For years and years and years and years, Souls will choose to remain within the personality of their adult self after they have passed into the non-physical realm. They do this for a variety of reasons, all of them beneficial to the Soul. But also, it’s beneficial to those who are still here on the earth plane that they maintain their personality and their form. Even though it's a non-physical form, it's still recognizable. They still appear to be who they were. And this is to maintain the ongoing relationship with those who are still here on the physical plane.

And it is also to keep growing within the context of that personality. For a Soul, even though the physical life has ended, the actual incarnation within the organization and structure of that personality self doesn't end for a long time, even after they have passed. Their incarnation extends itself beyond the physical lifetime, actually, which is an expansive idea for all of you.
