Hi Friends!
I hope your summer has been a good one. Mine has been busy and full of fun. My husband, Nick, and I have gone away a couple of times to visit with family, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
As summer winds down, schools, groups, and clubs are back in session.
What does that mean for you?
It may mean that projects that have been on hiatus during the summer are pulled back into focus.
Perhaps it means it’s time to start thinking about shopping for the holidays, decorating your home, or finishing a project so that your home is ready when the holidays arrive.
I would love to work with you to put a project in motion or get it across the finish line. Give me a call or send me an email to schedule a phone consultation.
Here are a couple of quick tasks to do this month:
1. Evaluate Your Pool Towels
Since many pools close for the season after Labor Day, evaluate your pool towels before you pack them away. Only pack away the towels you know you’ll use. Donate the others to an animal shelter.
2. Review Your Winter Coats
Winter coats sometimes get put away for the summer without emptying the pockets or cleaning them. Check yours now. Do they need to be cleaned before the cold weather sets in? Maybe a coat needs to be repaired and then cleaned. Look them over and take the next step.
A Few Things I’m Excited About!
The Chronic Disorganization Tapestry: This book is a fabulous resource published by the Institute for Challenging Disorganization. It’s an easy-to-implement guidebook which supports anyone who recognizes – and wants to address – the frustration of disorganization. Bursting with insights from 12 established experts, I am proud to say that I am one of the twelve experts featured in this terrific resource. I wrote Chapter 3: The Challenge of Organizing While Aging. Available on Amazon
September 17 - 19 The 2026 ICD Annual Conference will be held in Toronto, Canada.
December 3 - 5 I will be attending the Attention Deficit Disorder Association Conference in Baltimore. I’m presenting a session on December 5th with 2 of my colleagues; Cindy Sullivan and Sara Skillen. Our presentation is: The ADHD and Chronic Disorganization Connection: A Story of Challenge and Hope
