Here's what you need to know in order to participate in Fall Kickoff Sunday on September 8.
Two services resume this Sunday, one at 9 a.m. and one at 11 a.m. Worship is the same at both services, with the Reverend Pen Peery preaching this week.
Between the services, plan to participate in an intergenerational Formation hour for all ages. Gather in Wood Fellowship Hall at 10 a.m. for a brief video, a Q&A and an introduction to the Formation team--including the Reverend Robert Galloway, the new Associate Pastor for Christian Formation and Young Adults. Information about Fall classes will be available, as well as fellowship time with coffee and Krispy Kreme doughnut holes.
After worship, all are invited to lunch on the lawn. Dress casually and bring camp chairs or blankets for seating. The church will provide fried chicken, green beans, and macaroni and cheese. You’re invited to contribute to bring a side dish or dessert based on your last name (A-P, bring cold side dishes; Q-Z, desserts).
