Parenting Moments

presented by Healthier Urban Families at Wayne State University

September 2023

Welcome to the month of September. So much is happening with children starting or returning to school and summer winding down. Many of us feel that this is the time to speed things up and really kick into gear. I encourage you to get your routines in place and slow things down. Savor the transition between the ending of one season and the beginning of the next. We don’t have to turn in our flip flops for winter boots overnight! Please see the Parenting Moments guide about establishing routines and schedules. Once that is in place, family fun moments become less rushed and more enjoyable.
