The focus for this group in the fall will be a 9-week DVD driven study by Dr. David Jeremiah that will remind us what Jesus Himself told His disciples (& us) to expect from this season in history; and how to live a successful Christian life in the midst of it all. Jesus delivered His significant sermon that scholars have called “the most important single passage of prophesy in the Bible.” Join us as we learn more about it. Open to adults. No childcare provided.

How Much More, a new bible study by Lisa Harper.

In this 7 week Bible study, you’ll discover the divine love of God in often overlooked and misunderstood passages in Scripture. You’ll be delighted to find that the Jehovah of the Old Testament is the same redemptive and compassionate God we see through Jesus Christ in the New Testament. He has always been and will always be for us!

Registration will begin Sunday, Aug 23

Books will be available on the first day of class and are $17.

This year, we will take a couple of weeks to do a few studies to help us prepare our hearts for the year ahead. Beginning Sept. 9, we will dive into a series called “Raising Emotionally Strong & Worry– Free Kids”. This curriculum comes from the Raising Boys & Girls organization. During this course, we will talk about practical ways kids can name and navigate their emotions, understanding what worry and anxiety look like, and offer practical strategies to fight worry and find hope.

Grief Share is a 13-week support group for those who have lost a spouse, child, family member or friend. These groups are facilitated by people who understand what it is to lose someone close to them. They are not teachers or counselors, they are just men and women who have experienced grief and want to help you as you walk through the journey of grief. No registration fees; just purchase the $20 workbook.

Teens in 6^th-12^th grade are invited to study the book of John with us. We’ll have a game or activity, read and discuss the chapter, and answer questions using the jump seats! Attendance at our monthly quiz meets is optional.

Meet for food, conversation, worship, and prayer! This will be a family-style life group, so it may be loud and chaotic at times, but gives a chance to focus on Jesus as families. Open to families with kids. Kids will be included in what we do!

The high school life group meets most Sundays throughout the school year. The first hour is fellowship and fun, they then transition into topical discussions relevant to their culture.
