All current studio news & updates can be found below!

Happy Fall! Everyone seems to be settling into classes well! We will continue to be watching to be sure all dancers are in classes they belong in. If you have any questions or concerns about your dancers' classes please let us know.

Upcoming Important Dates:

Halloween Week! October 25-30

Wear your costume to class week! We will have treats for you!!

Costume Deposits Due November 1-15

Planning a year end performance is much like planning a wedding for 400+ bridesmaids and groomsmen. In order for costumes to arrive on time they need to be ordered prior to the first of the year.

Costume deposit will be $65 per class your dancer takes. There may be a small balance that will be billed in March.

Recital Update:

The results are in for our poll last season regarding our year end performance. 40% preferred our outdoor festival and 60% preferred our traditional performance at Stockbridge Theater.

As of right now we will be returning to Stockbridge Theater for our performances on May 21-22. Dress rehearsals will be May 19-20. However, we are planning for much shorter performances (about 45 minutes) and hope to have food and ice cream trucks at our facility. This should give a mix of both preferences, without the worry of weather! If for any reason Stockbridge cannot accommodate us we will return to our outdoor event.

After our performances we do continue our dance year for 3 fun-filled weeks of spirit week, try a new class week and more!!

Virtual Peek Week November 8-13

At this time we are unable to hold our in person Peek Week. However, we invite you to join us on Zoom the week of Nov 8-13.

To access, Visit our website to log on! Password to access the page: MHDConline

IMPORTANT: Be sure to have your dancer's name as your user name, and be sure your audio and video are both turned off. Our staff will do our best to let folks in promptly, but know that sometimes there will be a delay in access, especially if logging in late to the class.

Food Pantry Collection November 8-13

Please consider donating a non-perishable item to be delivered to a local food pantry for the Thanksgiving holiday. For each item brought in, MHDC will make a $1 donation to Dancers at Heart. So, a win-win for two organizations!!

Reminder: We are open November 11 Veterans Day.

We are closed Wednesday November 24-Saturday November 27.
