Update: Disaster Relief Aid in the Carolinas
Thanks to generous contributors in the Carolinas and beyond, we have raised more than $150,000 to support Disaster Relief Grants for our employees and volunteers impacted by Hurricane Florence. As of today, we have processed 151 grants and provided $71,612.72 in disaster relief aid to credit union employees. Many credit union employees have lost their homes and will be eligible for Phase II grants in the coming weeks.

Auction Donations Needed
Help make the Carolinas Cup a success
 The Carolinas Cup, hosted by CUNA Mutual Group, is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Victory Junction's Reach Program and you don't have to play in the golf tournament to help support a great cause. We are still in-need of auction items for both the silent and live auction to help drive our success! If you would like to make a donation, please email me or Randy Coleman with the details. We are happy to arrange for shipping or pick-up and tax receipts will be provided.
Each year, special guests Kyle Petty and a Victory Junction camper join us to share their story just before the live and silent auction begins. This year, we will have AJ (pictured as Thing 1 on the top left) and his sister Madison (Thing 2) as our special guests. AJ and his family are truly amazing! AJ has been receiving treatments for Gaucher's Disease at the St. Jude Affiliate Clinic at Novant Health Hemby Children's Hospital in Charlotte since he was 2.5 years old. His treatments are done every 10 days and take several hours but the Reach Program provides both AJ and Madison with a fun experience, despite the clinical setting.

The Carolinas Credit Union Foundation was incorporated in 1993 as a charitable organization dedicated to the embodiment of the “people helping people” philosophy of credit unions. Its mission is to enrich the lives of children in the Carolinas. The Foundation is currently partnering with Victory Junction to power its new outreach program called Reach, bringing specialized camp-style programming to children and families year-round at hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses in the Carolinas. It also serves as a partner in philanthropy with credit unions, assisting charitable giving through donor-advised funds, managing scholarship programs, supporting small credit unions with professional development grants, and aiding disaster relief for the local, national, and global credit union communities.
