Hello and Happy Fall!
FHSR is very excited to announce the new FHSR Education Coordinator Program which is designed to support deaf and hard of hearing children, their families and teachers. This position, filled by Anna Tess, will play a crucial role in supporting our parents as a key resource for their child's educational needs.
As with all of our programs and services, the Education Coordinator program will be tuition-free to families and school districts in need of these services. Read more about what the program has to offer below. Welcome Anna!

Music Therapy starts again in January 2024 and registration is already openPlease register your 4-9 year old DHH child for the 12-week interactive small group program at one of our two locations. This will be our 3rd music therapy session and we look forward to having your child join in on the fun.

This fall FHSR launched an awareness campaign encouraging parents and caregivers to follow up if their child did not pass their newborn hearing screening. FHSR has created a resource page on our website to help parents know the next steps and where to go for a follow up pediatric hearing test.
The 1 3 6 Awareness Campaign encourages parents to take the steps of :
  • Early Detection
  • Early Intervention
  • For Lifelong Results
We are proud to serve our mission of creating awareness around pediatric hearing loss with this exciting new campaign.

Join us Nov 4th for our Cheers & Beers for Ears fundraiser at Little Owl Social Pub as we raise much needed funds for pediatric loaner hearing aid banks so no child has to go without hearing!
We hope to see you there!
